New direction….what is to come

Alert the press….things might be changing again! If you have been following us for some time then you know that if there is one thing that is consistent with us….it is inconsistency. ha!

That counts doesn’t it. We are going to be adding new sections and new countries to our website very soon….including my favorite: Exciting Healthy!

After much much thought I have decided to expand this blog instead of adding more and more blogs. So what is happening to International Cravings.

Adding countries

You will soon see all of the posts of our travels in Malaysia, Thailand, and the U.S. We will soon be adding other countries to our list as well.  As much as we love China we are excited to add other countries in 2013.

Nothing is for sure at this moment, but here is our list of possibilities:

  • Mexico
  • Costa Rica
  • Guatemala
  • Ecuador
  • Peru
  • Honduras
  • Argentina

So as you can see we are looking at Central and South America. We are looking at all options in all these countries at this moment. I like a slower pace, so it will be dependent upon work, internet, and of course how we feel that day. lol

Exciting Healthy Food

My favorite. I have been working on this site separately and then decided to add it to International Cravings. We will feature healthy natural food and recipes that we encounter while traveling. Learning how to create healthy meals for our family and passing all these secrets on to you. We are passionate about eating healthy and teaching our kids to make the right choices.

There will be pictures, grocery shopping tips, recipes, and of course hilarious food stories.

So excited to get healthy!!

Travel Stories

We will keep everyone up to date with our crazy daily adventures and mishaps. Some things will never change.

Language Learning

This is a new section where we are going to talk about learning a second or third language. We currently are starting to teach our 5 year old her 3rd language. We have had our struggles and challenges. We want to help you learn from our mistakes and give you some of our secrets to success. We are happy to say that Lupita is excited about learning Spanish, and eager to travel south of the border come 2013.

One of our goals was to become bilingual and create a love of language and culture in our children. So far so good. 🙂

There you go!

Now the secret is out of the bag. We are going to be having some changes and hopefully you like them. It is basically to give us one platform to share EVERYTHING we are doing versus just our Chinese stuff.

If this sounds like something you are interested in or know some one who might find this interesting please share it with them.

You can also get these amazing posts in your inbox with no effort. Here!

Let the adventures continue! I can’t believe Lupita is on to her third language. Looking forward to hearing about your new travel destinations.

Funny thing is that right now all she wants to do is Spanish. That is good, but trying to keep the Chinese up has been a bit more of a challenge than I thought it would be. She doesn’t want to speak it and pretends she doesn’t understand simple things. Then we put her on Rosetta Stone and she gets to the advanced level….so it is a bit frustrating. We are trying to keep the Rosetta Stone going and then also encourage the Spanish. Who knows…..give Caleb a big hug for us!!!
