Lupita turns 4 in China

Our little bundle of crazy joy turned four this last week. It was a sad and happy moment. Zeek and I remember talking about what we thought it would be like to have a four year old…however it feels like that was last week and not 3.5 years ago. How does a four year old spend her fourth birthday in China? Only one way! With PINK!

We celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago on our trip to Chimelong. That was our big present to her and us! If you are going to have a birthday in China you should remember it.

The night before she turned 4 our nanny and her daughter came over to help us decorate the apartment in balloons. So that when she woke up she would be bombarded with pink and purple balloons! That was step number one.

I had to work on her birthday, but I did get off early with enough time to get ready for her party that began at 7 pm.

Here she sits in our living room waiting for her guests! Like our balloons?!

The birthday girl greeting her guests.

Our nanny made fried rice…not just any fried rice…it is the best fried rice you have ever had. She also made two noodle dishes, fruit platters, and lots of other yummy things that I honestly don’t remember right now.

Here she is cooking up a storm in our kitchen.

We invited our nanny’s family, coworkers and two of Lupita’s little friends over for the party. Our apartment is small, but it fit everyone nicely.

Even Abe helped out getting the house ready for the party.

Lupita was blessed with many wonderful birthday presents from her new friends in China. Here she is with one of her favorite birthday presents. She is enjoying that way too much.

So proud of my little girl!!

We want to thank everyone for the Birthday wishes from all over the world. We are so very blessed to have you all in our lives. Thank you for all of the birthday presents too!

Lupita had a great birthday! Thank you all!!

Oh my, could she looke anymore like her mom!?! Looking at her cute little face puts me right back into kindergarten with you! You are an amazing family, giving your children amazing life experiences! So excited for you guys!

Dakota- Hi!!! Ya we do look at some pictures and it is hard to tell if they of her or of me at that age. We hope the kids will some day look back at these experiences and say that they enjoyed themselves….or they might want money for extra therapy. Either way it will be a story for them. Good to hear from you and would love to see pictures of your little girl.

I will email you some pictures! Not sure if you know, I had another baby! Josie is five months and Madigan will be two in October! Crazy how fast life can change! From the looks of it, your kids will have amazing memories!

I can’t wait for the pictures!!! I can’t believe you had another baby and I didn’t know anything. We didn’t go down to LG much after the birth of Abe. Life does change too fast. You will have to let me know what you guys are up to. Obviously very busy with two little ones. I bet your mom is in heaven.
      Give them kisses from us.
