Don’t join a gym, have fun and lose weight with us!

Happy New Year!  新年好 Feliz Año Nuevo!

Come on let’s start this year right, and stay away from the traditional stale New Year’s resolutions that we all know we aren’t going to stay with for longer than 4 or 5 days. Let’s not put ourselves through that this year. We can save ourselves the headache and disappointment. Nothing against gyms or clubs but we all know how this will play out because we did it last year.  Instead let’s try something different, something fun and something that will last longer than 5 days. 

Over the holiday and my anniversary weekend in Charleston the scale is tipping 6 lbs heavier, on top of my 4 lbs that I have added to the gut over the last 4 months, equaling a total of 10 extra lbs. So I thought that we could all shed some weight together and I will go over steps in my “Healthy Living – Chinese Style” book that will be available later this spring.

I have joined gyms, weight loss programs, and tried tons of gimmicks before and barely lost 5 lbs. The only time I have seriously lost weight and kept (almost all) of it off was with the secrets we learned in China.

Since we have been traveling the States and Mexico I have picked up some more delicious recipes that I am eager to share with ya’ll.

My newest find and secret love is a new App that I have found and when I need to use a few lbs fast I use. Lose It What I really like about this app is the ability to log your food in real time as well as create your own food and log any activity you do. Another aspect that I really like about this app is that it gives you a daily snapshot at what you consumed and helps you make better decisions. You can see how many calories a harmless snack really has and how much a cup of carrots has. It was a huge eye opener for me. It also solidified why we were able to lose so much weight in China, because of the food we were eating.

Let’s have some fun together and lose that first 5 or 10 lbs without a gym membership or the need to buy new shoes and feel bad about ourselves in a week. Living a healthy life-style is so important and it really works.
